Edmee Rodriguez, M.D., is a board-certified internal medicine and obesity specialist. She diagnoses and treats patients at James R. Tryon, M.D. PC, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. At the practice, Dr. Rodriguez works closely with patients. She, and the team, use a concierge model to ensure they can provide compassionate and thorough care.
Dr. Rodriguez earned her bachelor's degree with honors at the University of Puerto Rico. She then earned her medical degree from Ponce Health Sciences University in Ponce, Puerto Rico. After graduating, Dr. Rodriguez completed her residency in internal medicine at Louisiana State University in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Dr. Rodriguez has been in the Albuquerque medical community since 2005, working at Presbyterian and Lovelace medical groups. Prior to relocating to New Mexico, she served as medical director in Dallas, Texas. Throughout her medical career, she has developed a special interest in geriatric care, diabetes care, hyperlipidemia, and obesity.
Dr. Rodirguez enjoys living in New Mexico. When she’s not in the office, she enjoys exploring the city, learning traditional weaving, and spending time with friends and family.
